hilsWell, I finished it at 11pm last night which I think it pretty good going. Only took me about 6 hours which is a lot less than it took me with Order of the Phoenix
Well, most people who are into Harry Potter more than me predicted that Dumbledore would die in this book so I was half expecting it. Nevertheless I was still shocked when it happened, especially when it was Snape who did it. I kept thinking maybe it was a trick or something but no, Snape is evil, or at the very least willing to kill to save his own neck. padfoot_uk's theory that he would redeem himself by the end although I suppose it's possible.
I wasn't very keen on the whole history of Voldemort thing. Reminded me a bit too much of the Darth Vader storyline. The Horcrux thing was pretty interesting though.
Harry and Ginny! I never would have seen that coming. It was really funny. The first time I got all jealous when Ginny was kissing Dean I was like wtf! By the end I thought it was cute. Who'd have imagined that the little scared girl from Chamer of Secrets would wind up being Harry's girlfriend. And she's got red hair like Lily. Aww!
Remus/Tonks. Didn't see that one coming either! Although Remus is obviously in love with Sirius I suppose if he has to be with a woman it would be her. Nearly dropped the book when she confessed her feelings at the end. I bet Sirius is laughing from wherever he's watching
Who is R.A.B? Guess I'll have to read the next book to find out. I suspect if anyone is going to redeem himself it will be Draco but only time will tell
Snape is the Half-Blood Prince. Hmm...that ending seemed a bit silly. I dunno, I was sure it was going to be Voldemort
