Last night
Jul. 14th, 2005 07:20 amWe finally got around to sampling the food at the pub next door. It wasn't that great. Not awful or anything but I've had better food in different pubs. It didn't help that the landlord is new and he kept hovering to check everything was ok and he asked for almost critical feedback on the sauce that came with my salmon. LOL
I attempted Return of the King last night. It's bloody hard! I just about managed the first level with Gandalf and after that I kept dying on The Path of the Dead. Because you can't save during a level I kept having to go back to the beginning. Most frustrating. I gave up in the end and started a new game of Third Age. LOL
Watched Big Brother. I'm starting to think Anthony has the patience of a saint. How he puts up with Craigs constant whining and needyness I don't know. Makosi has suddenly remembered she might be pregnant. This seems to come up only when it suits her. She's quite happy to guzzle wine and mess around and then when she's bored she decides to go into the diary room and have a cry about her 'baby' *eyeroll*. She's a nurse! She should know better. No wonder they want to fire her. I wouldn't want her treating me! Poor Derek had to see the psychologist as he was on the verge of going insane and killing someone. He's definitely my fave. Derek to win!
I'm going to Border's with Jacqui tomorrow so she can pick up her copy of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince at midnight. I wish I could work up some enthusiasm for this new book but I really can't. I don't even care if I hear spoilers (although I won't actively go looking for them). I'll read it when I'm done reading Two Towers (which I'm only halfway through)
