hilsYou wanted Buffy and Spike slow dancing
"Dance with me?"
For a moment Buffy thought Spike was going to bolt. His eyes widened ever so slightly and he took a small step backwards. She wasn't even sure why she'd asked him, she'd just seen him there, in the shadows of the Bronze, alone and it had made her feel sad. There was a good chance the world was going to end sometime soon and she didn't like the idea of there still being some awkwardness between her and the man she had once been so close to.
"Please?"
Hesitently, Spike places his bottle of beer on a nearby table and allowed Buffy to lead him to the dancfloor. He flinched as she positioned his hands on her and stood there almost rigid as she began to sway slowly to the soft music that was playing.
It was only when she laid her head on his chest that he allowed himself to relax, holding her a little closer and moving to the music himself.
"This feels nice," Buffy said softly, not even sure if he'd hear her above the music and people talking.
Spike nodded his head. "Safe."
