hilsGot my annual report at work today. I actually blushed when I read it. My boss had nothing but nice things to say about me and has recommended I apply for next managment recruitment board. I never had anyone believe in me so heartily before. It's really flattering and the sort of push I need to try and do this. Usually I convince myself I'm not good enough. Application process starts next month so I shall have to get my CV ship shape this month
Have also been recommended for a bonus. WHEE!!! Won't find out until April whether I've got one or not. Senior management make the final decision but I think I stand a pretty good chance. I've been involved in a lot of extra tasks and activities over the last year which has been mentioned on my report. If I get one I think it's about £700 before tax which I will get at the end of August. Well, it'll pay off some of my cruise debt and leave me money for Christmas presents. Wow, I might actually get away with not using my credit card at all this Christmas. YAY!
