hilsI've just friended a couple of my favourite authors. I find it amazing that it is so easy in this modern world to gain access to people like this.
I remember when I e mailed Poppy Z. Brite (![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
docbrite) a couple of years ago after I found a link on her website. I had a reply within 24 hours. It's just so cool that authors allow themselves to be accessible like this.
As well as Poppy I finally got around to friending Neil Gaiman (![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-syndicated.gif)
officialgaiman). I've been a huge fan since my friend Matthew recommended Neverwhere to me over 3 years ago
