hilsI want to make icons but Windows is installing Service Pack 2 and everything is running pretty slow while the update is being done. It's a big-ass update so I could be sat around for some time. In the meantime here's a book meme that I just made up in my moment of boredom

At the moment I'm reading Georgiana: Duchess of Devonshire. It's a biography of a girl who became the Duchess of Devonshire at the age of 16. I've only read one chapter so far but it's really interesting and quite heartbreaking to read about the pressures that were put on young nobelwomen in the 1700s. She spent the whole of her youth trying to be everything her parents wanted her to be and at the same time she was utterly miserable. She convinced herself she was in love with the Duke of Devonshire because she thought it was what her parents wanted. Very sad :(
