hilsSorry to start the day with a grumble but I just want to get it all out of my system before I go to work
I feel like a walking ailment at the moment. I've finally pretty much got rid of the cough from hell and as soon as it went I developed a mouth ulcer. This means I keep waking up in pain every time I roll over in my sleep and press on it. I've got some gel for it but it's still pretty painful. Coupled with that my hay fever sprang into action this morning and I woke up all sniffly and sneezy :(
I can't believe this but I actually WANT some bills. The only one we've actually got set up properly at the moment is the phone. The Council Tax people are being awkward because we moved in not at the start of the year and there was no one living here before us to pay the previous months. Damned if we're paying it.
I ordered broadband 3 weeks ago and depite them saying it would take 10 days maximum I've heard nothing yet. I tried to e mail them at the start of the week and kept getting an error message. I finally e mailed their customer services and so far have had no reply. I think I'm going to phone them today and get shouty
We've also had trouble establishing where our gas and electricity meters are. The estate agent came out yesterday and was apparently as baffled as us that it wasn't where the brochure said it should be. Finally found it and then it was equally hard work trying to register online. Turns out it works out cheaper to register the gas and electricity together so I'll do that once the gas meter has been found
And finally I signed up with Yorkshire Water online over a week ago and we've still had no bill.
I'm not complaining about the lack of bills exactly, I'm just worried about getting cut off because we haven't paid something that we should *sigh*
Moving = stressful
Big management meeting tomorrow = stressful
