A matter of leverage
Feb. 10th, 2004 12:04 amI've either got more willpower than most, or I'm REALLY obsessed with taking photos. I suspect the latter. Reached a crucial point in Alias (don't think I need to cut because everyone who cares appears to have seen it now). The episode ended with Vaughn's fingernails starting to bleed, and I go out to take pictures
Still, my batteries died before I could finish so I guess my camera is protesting. Here's what I got done and there will be a few more at a later date
Please bear in mind that my history isn't great so if I get something wrong I'm sure
mrthursday will correct me

Clifford's Tower. As far as I know us lovely Christians set the place on fire with a bunch of Jews trapped inside. Most of them threw themselves to their death. Aren't we nice!

York Art Gallery. It's a bit crap, but the building is pretty

This building is called the Hospitium. I believe it's 15th century but I could be wrong

Pub called The Kings Arms that I used to frequent when I was at Uni. Gets flooded A LOT and is in fact still closed after the recent floods we had

York Minster

More York Minster

And more York Minster

One of the many museums we have.

Old Orleans. A place myself,
flickums,
padfoot_uk,
nam_melon and
ballistichimp know well. Does a mighty fine steak

Don't really know anything about this building, just thought it looked cool

York Minster's rose window

Part of the old abbey

More abbey ruins

A part of town known as The Shambles. One of the oldest parts of the city I believe

More of The Shambles

Stonegate. Has an excellent sword and medieval weaponry shop, or so I've been told

The theatre. The place where you go and see plays, not films.
