Right then, here we go. Obviously this is just the stuff I didn't forget in my booze filled haze

Friday

Went shopping with Dave as usual. Bought Pick n Mix, collected my coat from the shop and prepared to meet [livejournal.com profile] flickums

Got a text to say she was going to be late.

Not to be hindered Dave and I wandered over to the station and sat in the pub, enjoying a nice end of week pint while we waited.

Flickums arrived, Dave left, we went back to my house.

Sat around and ate snacks and chatted until [livejournal.com profile] padfoot_uk and [livejournal.com profile] ballistichimp arrived. Hugs were exchanged and wine was opened. Ben amused us all with the tale of the psychotic customer ("BLOOD! DARKNESS! GORE! KIDS SHOULDN'T BE PLAYING THIS! IT GETS INTO YOUR HEAD AND IT TWISTS IT!")

[livejournal.com profile] finzilla and the future Mrs Zilla arrived. More hugs were exchanged, more booze was consumed before we settled down to watch Kung Pow which turned out to be just about the SILLIEST film I have ever seem. I'm not even sure I can describe it. It's like a spoof Kung Fu movie but just really odd. Very amusing though.

Fin and Chris had to leave halfway through to get a lift home :( but the merriment continued even though they were missed.

After the film we fiddled with a couple of new PS2 games, Chaos Legion and Pirates of the Crib. Look good, but didn't really see enough to get a full opinion. I'll just have to get Tom to buy them. LOL

Soon we got sleepy and headed off to bed

Saturday

Got up and dyed my hair (as you do) before we (everyone apart from Tom and Bec) headed into town to shop. First port of call was the booze shop (are we surprised) where Sarah bought two bottled of mead. I was to try it later and all I will say is that it's certainly interesting.

Next was the comic/roleplaying shop where Sarah bought me my birthday present. I love her and will probably put her on my desk at work although I may be told to take her down like the posters.

Goth shop was next and we just looked at stuff before deciding to come back later and try stuff on. Saw a lovely outfit that I could have worn to Fin's wedding but it would later transpire that it didn't fit.

Had lunch in the YUMMY cafe that does the most divine milkshakes you've ever tasted. I take everyone who visits me in there to sample the wonders. We were all amused by the massive swarm of disorganised people that came in afterwards and took about half an hour just to order their food and get sat down.

We ate, drank and were merry before continuing the shopping. Sarah bought an absolutely GORGEOUS dress to wear to the wedding, Flick bought some computer games and we bought Fin's wedding present.

We headed to the other goth shop and Flick bought a whole bunch of clothes which ended up with her looking eerily like me. More than one person was a little disturbed by it, especially when I lent her my black velvet skirt. Mini-Hils was on the town.

Headed back to the first goth shop and I tried on a whole bunch of stuff but left with just a pair of black cords. Better than nothing I suppose

Sarah was being plagued with sore feet and her boots were all uncomfortable. The solution? We went into a shop and she bought a pair of the same trainers I was wearing. We then became shoe twins, bonded by comfy leather and rubber soles.

We picked up [livejournal.com profile] jacqui_hw from the station, dumped all our shopping and headed out for the meal.

Dave, in his usual fashion, was late but we eventually got ourselves settled and organised. I had a coke to quench my thirst and then hit the cocktails. Had three Zombies in the space of about two hours and was well on the way to being pissed when we left.

During our time in the restaurant we discovered balloons in the middle of the table. First of all Tom tied one to each side of my hair to make floating pigtails and wouldn't let me take them out until a photo had been taken.

Dave, in the meantime, was trying to make some jewellry out of a chilli and some of the string left over from the balloon. Sarah jokingly suggested putting a note inside the chilli and releasing it. So we did just that.

Somewhere out there is a chilli ties to three balloons bearing the note 'Help, I'm a prisoner on a chilli farm. Make the bad man stop hurting me (with chillies)'

Most amusing

Met up with Greg who I work and roleplay with and his girlfriend Amanda

We headed to a nearby pub where Len, another of the roleplaying gang works. It took us a while to find somewhere we could all sit but we eventually managed to get a nice table outside. Much alcohol was consumed and although Sarah, Ben and Fin had to leave, we were also joined by Ord and Bennett (two more of the roleplayers). Everyone met everyone else and everyone seemed to like everyone (apart from Bec who forced Tom to leave early because she doesn't like Ord, Bennett or Greg)

I got steadily more drunk and in fact can't really remember much about what we talked about. It was a great night though. I certainly remember us casting all of the Muppets in the Matrix but I have no idea how it started.

Finally it was time for us to all go our seperate ways. Greg and Amanda walked most of the way home with us and Dave came back to ours for more drinking. We went through a bottle of wine between the three of us (Me, Dave and Jacqui) before finally heading to bed

Sunday

Woke feeling rather delicate and just lay around until I finally summoned the energy to get a shower and get dressed. Jacqui and I then headed into town to do yet more shopping. We naturally went to the milkshake place for lunch which alas did nothing to soothe my queasy stomach. We DID however find and SFX Buffy special magazine with lots of pretty pictures and cool interviews.

We wandered around town for ages trying to amuse ourselves before I finally happened upon the idea of doing the York River Cruise. It was fun but left me feeling more sick :( Well, I will do these things to myself.

It was soon time to take Jacqui to the station and, delays aside, she got off safely eventually. Trains suck!

Got home with 15 minutes to spare before Dave arrived for the roleplaying. We sat around and watched The Addams Family, snickered at Mercedes McNab, and waited for the others to arrive. It was a good game. I actually got properly involved this time and it was a lot of fun. Unfortunately it meant I didn't get to bed until gone midnight and I was so tired I forgot to set my alarm. Good job Tom makes a lot of noise in the morning or I'd have been uber-late

And there you have it. My weekend of crazy fun. Like I said I'm sure I've missed stuff but that's drunkeness for you.
