Not sure if this will make sense to anyone in the US but I need to share my tale of woe.
It's become sort of a tradition that my dad and I engage in a game of Trivial Pursuit whenever I come to visit. I have yet to win a game but lately the games have been much closer.
Anyway, last night I was sure that victory would be mine. I got all my coloured wedges while dear Dad-Ra only had 2. Could I get to the centre though? Could I hell!
Got there once and whilst I knew the answer to the question, the wording confused me.
When something starts 'which sportsman' I figured they'd want the name of a person so I said Steve Davis. The answer was 'a snooker player'
BAH!
Dad-Ra went on to win and I sulked for the rest of the evening. LOL
Victory was so near yet so far.
Ah well, off to Whitby soon. WHEE!
And then home after that
