Season 5 stuff

hilsHm...lately all I seem to be posting about is Buffy. How am I going to cope when it all ends?
Anyway, I settled myself down to watch my Season 5 DVDs today. I was going to work on my pirate fic but I just couldn't seem to get myself motivated. So since I was up until 2am working on Fluffy Beneath You I decided to give myself a break.
Here are some of my thoughts on the special features/commentaries
Commentary for The Real Me - My god David Fury is boring. When are they going to realise this and stop giving him commentaries to do. Nothing he said interested me at all, but I did enjoy seeing the guy who played Andrew as one of Harmony's minions. Have to say I enjoyed seeing Spike before he got all puppy doggish too.
Commentary for Fool For Love - Fairly enjoyable. I like Doug Petrie. The commentary was pretty interesting and I love the episode so I was happy
Featurettes - Ok, I found myself violently disliking Danny Strong. I'm sure he was deliberatley trying to ham up the demonology featurette but I just found it irritating. The rest of them were pretty good though. I loved the one on stunts, that was really interesting. Not sure how the casting woman managed to justify Nicholas Brendan though. The guy just can't act. Outakes were amusing although they all seemed to be Seasons 2 and 3. Where are the more recent ones??
I Was Made To Love You commentary - I like Jane Espensen too. She seems like a really sweet person and I loved her commentary. She really heightened the sadness of the episode, especially the end where Apirl dies.
The Body commentary - Joss was great as usual although if he says 'It's about the physicality of grief' one more time I think I may have to kill him. It was good to see what he was thinking when they made it though
Well, that's pretty much it. I feel the need to watch more Buffy but I don't wanna fry my brain. Maybe I'll have another bash at starting my story
