That was perfect! It was exactly what I wanted. I'm already seeing the Dean hate being thrown around but honestly I think it's just a self-preservation thing. He's keeping up appearances and Sam isn't buying it for a moment.

I don't think it's fair to give this a Sam hair rating considering the content but I'll go back to doing it next week

I am so very glad they didn't kill Cas off! He can still be saved, and he can have some awesome insane scenes with Lucifer in the meantime.

This!! Awesome episode. I hadn't realized how much I'd missed Cas!! Even with spoilers ahead of time, this one surprised me so much with the outcome.

Dean hate? After the trenchcoat? After he ran after a distraught Cas DEFENDING his actions to the point where Cas himself had to ask him not to? After he shouted in fear when Cas started to take Sam's memories into himself? After he REFUSED to let Meg reveal the ugly truth because he couldn't bare to burden happy!Cas with the pain?

Oh fandom. You're never satisfied are you?

That said, I agree the ending was a bit abrupt. They could have given us a goodbye scene at least. But they had a LOT to get through this week, so fair enough I say.

I'll be reviewing myself later (as in, I'll be reviewing the ep myself, not reviewing 'myself' because... weird), but let's just say Castiel unites us :) All the love.

Although when it comes to Sera, she has merely appeased me. It doesn't make her a better show runner in my eyes... a good writer though :)
