Monday Fic Recs (On A Tuesday)

hilsOops! Totally forgot to do my fic recs yesterday so here they are now

After the events of Caged Heat Dean, Sam and Cas climb into Hell to get Sam’s soul. While they pass from one infernal circle to the next, Dean struggles with his mistrust of soulless Sam and the shadow of his own past in the Pit. In addition, there’s the matter of Cas who’s come to mean more to Dean than he wants to admit. Fighting against Hell spawn and fallen angels, passing through burned cities and salt deserts, Dean believes in the success of their mission until their luck runs out and Hell threatens to swallow Cas whole.
Absolutely fantastic. Ties in with the plot of S6 perfectly but explores the characters and their motivations so much more deeply. I was hooked from beginning to end.
The Law of Conservation of Energy byperoxidepest17
The law of conservation of energy states that energy cannot be created or destroyed, only transformed from one state into another. And what is grace, if not energy? In order to win the war in Heaven, Castiel and the Winchesters embark on a cross-country quest to find the scattered shards of Gabriel’s grace in the hopes that its remaining power will be enough to defeat Raphael.
Another absolutely wonderful fic. It has that classic roadtrip/quest feel to it and it's wonderful seeing Dean and Castiel's relationship develop from mistrust and suspicion into something more. I loved it.
