I think I'm possibly the only person in the fandom that didn't loathe this episode. Don't get me wrong, I didn't like it, but there's definitely a positive spin to put on it especially if you're a Clexer. I'll get to that in a minute. First of all here's some of the stuff I mentioned to

Ronald!!! Hee! Ronald is The Toymaker and I totally sussed who it was before they started using the name. My, he's come a long way since unamed LuthorCorp IT techie back in Season 3 ;)
Clark and Lana broke the bed with sex. Ick!
Clark gets angry that Oliver has been lying to him. Well, now you know how Lex felt!
And here's the positive thing. Lex's whole goal was to break up Clark and Lana. Why? Because he wants Clark all to himself of course. Really, this episode was all about ending the Clana so the Clex can continue. Of course Lex isn't dead. I don't care what they say you don't kill off Lex Luthor. Besides, why would Michael be in talks for possibly coming back for the finale if Lex was dead. He'll be fine, just you see.
And I have no issue with a Lex that isn't Michael. He was all bandaged up anyway. If they'd had an actor wandering around pretending to be Michael that would have been different. The one eye we could see looked like him anyway ;)
I cried at the end. Not because I was sad about the end of Clana but because yet again Clark was crying and I can't bear it.
So, there we go. I certainly didn't hate it as much as last week so I won't be abandoning ship just yet.
When does Lois get back?
Edit: Plus, did you see Clark's face when the truck blew up? And his face when he let the ashes run through his fingers? He loved Lex, even at the end.
Edit2: Think about it. This whole episode was about the Clex. Oliver killed Lex because he was jealous of him. Lex got rid of Lana because he was jealous of her. Poor Clark was caught in the middle
