At the suggestion of multiclassgeek I have invested in a PrePay Oyster card. I generally go to London at least a couple of times a year and it will probably be more now these meetups are happening. So it'll save me money :)

One of their events? I keep bugging Andrea etc. about doing a Merlin con!! She did look thoughtful and said it might work with Robin Hood. There's a lot of the crew that are going for it.

And we to have talks at Midlands and Manchester too. Not just the LFCC. As long as I can crew the event, then I'm all shiny with that!

My mum perves over Arthur. When I told her that I was going to be meeting Bradley back at the expo she asked if he was the hot blonde one! Not sure she would appreciate me telling everyone this but oh well. She's 50, but acts like she's 20. So it's okay to perv it's the age you feel that counts.

A Merlin 'Con?

Hmmmmmm... It would depend on availability of guests, I suppose. You could probably get the writers in, but securing actors would be stupidly hard.

You'd have to run it like an Anti-Collectormania (i.e more along traditional fan-con lines), obviously.

Make it a two-day event instead of the traditional three (Saturday lunchtime - Sunday evening, costume disco on the Saturday night), and have Official Unofficial Stuff on the Friday night.
