You wouldn't - besides lots of people enter for inspiration, and don't even try for 50,000, they just get into the habit of writing large chunks of text daily.

One guy I met only wanted to do 10,000 words, he got carried away in the end.

Yeah but I haven't posted any of it. The only thing I posted this year was my Mpreg, my gender swap, and a few ficlets.

Plus, you work and you do a lot of stuff, so the fact that you can write all that, and do it well, tells me you're a good writer!

Wow, well done. I probably have that many words if I include my massive folder of morning pages while I was doing the Artists Way. I haven't written anything proper this year though.
