Urgh!

This is going to be another expensive month for me. I've got two birthdays, two holidays, the deposit for a third holiday and Christmas presents to pay for.

This is why I'm at my parents house and not in London seeing the pretty Merlin boys.

I've also just done something that may or may not have been a good idea. I went into the PO to get some Euros for when I go to Germany next week. What I came away with is a money card. It's like a debit card only you don't get charged for using it abroad (unless you're withdrawing cash) but you load money onto it before you travel. The two women in the PO were singing its praises but I'm feeling less than convinced now I'm home.

Anyone else come across these and is it any good? It's Visa Electron which I know not many shops accept over here.

Electron is accepted most places, it's just a few places that don't accept it, which is more than others (though a lot of companies are shying away from Switch these days).

I think you should be okay with it though.

As to TSCC, I don't know what to say. It was safe at second base - most of the stuff that got my attention was the child like computer, and John's mental state. I wasn't that impressed with the runaway plot line

I got myself an Visa Electron as a reserve for Galapagos. It is much cheaper than cash or travel checks, and most places accept it. Getting cash on it is easy too, and you still pay less than for exchanging cash or checks. But it's of course another pincode to remember... If I pay in I get interest on it, so it is a good way to save money for a holiday.
