I'm about to ask a really stupid question

Does anyone in Smallville actually call Oliver Ollie? I really can't remember. Does Clark call him Ollie is my more specific question

Uh... I haven't heard anyone calling him Ollie while talking to him, though I think he was refered to as Ollie when he wasn't around to listen. But, I can't remember Clark ever saying Ollie at all.

How odd - I've always thought of him as Ollie, but I don't think I've ever heard it spoken! Although someone must have, because I'm not familiar with the Green Arrow at all, and I must have heard it somewhere.

I think Chloe might have called him Ollie at one point. I don't think Clark ever did though

Only Lois has referred to him as Ollie and possibly called him it to his face. Clark has never called him that and always calls him Oliver which is appropriate since Ollie sounds childish/gay.

I think that he was called Ollie when in school. I think in one of the flashback episodes, when Oliver and his cronies were being asses, Lex said, "Come on, Ollie," to which Oliver replied, "That's Mr. Queen to you," or something like that.

But that's the only specific thing I can remember. Though Lois might have called him Ollie once or twice, especially this season. Especially while he was unconcious.

Lois calls him Ollie occaisionally, but she's kind of dropped that of late. Chloe calls him Ollie when she's talking to Clark about him. And I think Lex called him Ollie when he was a boy.

None of the other JLA members call him Ollie, but they have various other nicknames ;)

Definately sure Tess doesn't.

So basically, the only people to utter the name Ollie are Chloe and Lois. I think the Ollie is naturally associated with the comics, though it's been a while since I read them - simply because it saves a few characters of space. It's why Jimmy in the comics often calls Clark CK.

Since Clark doesn't know he's in a comic (which he isn't), I'm sure he'd probably call him Oliver. Though I think I may have to alter some of my fics, oops. Details, details.

The nickname is from DCU but not used so much on the show (I only remember Lois using it). But in the comics, even *Bruce* calls him Ollie. Sometimes. *g* So maybe that's how it became so prevalent in SV fic?
