Definitely the weakest episode so far but I still enjoyed it. I liked seeing Tess's backstory, and Oliver becoming Green Arrow too. I know someone said they didn't like his origin story but I'm pretty sure it was in the comics I read recently (minus Tess of course)

So, is it canon now that Tess is Mercy?

Not so much Clois in this one which made me sad, but there was lots of shirtless Oliver which was nice

It's also occurred to me that Davis looks like a cross between David Boreanaz and Joaquin Phoenix.

Yeah, it was ok. Not bad but not awesome either.

FWIW, in interviews Slavkin and Swimmer say she's neither Mercy nor Tessmacher, but a combination of the two. With a Smallville spin to boot, no doubt. :)

Believe it or not, by the end of the episode I was thinking someone should just go ahead and give Ollie a shirt, for heaven's sake. LOL! I'm pretty sure I would never say that to Clark, though.

Okay, I can totally see the Boreanaz/Phoenix thing! Good one.

Tess Mercer! I never thought about it being a combo of the two (I'd forgotten about Tessmacher actually). I think she's more of Mercy though. Tessmacher was always a bit wet
