Oh how fickle your memory is :P

It's my second Smallville/Justice fic, and third fic if you class the Transformers collaboration :P

However, yes be gentle :P

(That said, having read through what I've posted over the past half hour - I can already see at several bits missing, that should be in there. Maybe I could have hit 13,000 on the word count if I'd gone for a fourth draft).

This is why, obviously I'll never make it to being a published author - my writing just isn't memorable :P

And I can't show t'other fic, as apparently LJ Seek is down. I'd best get Nigel back up and running, he'll find it in his memory banks.

If you used tags you wouldn't need LJ Seek

But since I use LJ Seek I don't need tags

The doors to the office flew open, and two figures rushed in, excitedly.
“Woo, that was a rush!”
“Hell yeah, did you see his face?”
“It wasn’t all cut and dry, AC you got yourself trapped, and you know it,” Green Arrow said, soberly as he followed into the room, Clark in tow.
“Yeah Fish Stick, I saved your ass in there,” Cyborg said.
“Hey... everyone needs a little rescuing now and then,” AC said turning to Clark, winking. “Besides, I guess my ass is yours now Victor,” turning back to Cyborg.
“Hey listen, Clark, thanks for turning up on this one,” Oliver said turning to Clark, who’d been pretty quiet. “’Bout time you got your ass out of Smallville and saved someone other than... well you know who.”
“Yeah, erm, well... I needed to get away,” Clark shrugged.
“Good save, we’d have been screwed if that tower had fallen,” Oliver said. He put his arm round Clark’s shoulders. “I mean seriously, if you’d not sped in. Seriously we, no I, owe you a great debt there Clark,” gratitude, and something else Clark couldn’t put his finger on.
“I’m, erm, just glad I could join you for this one. Me and Lex...”
“Shhh...” Ollie said putting his finger on Clark’s lips. “Hey, have I shown you my new training room?” Oliver said changing the subject. “Come on, I need to get changed, love my outfit, but it can chaff... you know?”
“Never been into costumes,” Clark said, happily moving away from any subject that reminded him of the fight he’d had with Lex. “Guess, I just don’t like being seen,” he told Oliver as they left the office, where AC and Victor where wrestling over something. Clark spared a thought as to whether Arthur was really that strong, or if Victor was just playing.
“So what do you think, Clark?”
“It’s pretty cool. I tend to just like my barn though. Spend a lot of time here?” Clark asked noticing the bed against one of the walls. The room itself seemed vast, there were targets set about, some moving, and some spinning. There were bars on the ceiling, and the floor, chains dangled down here and there, and every so often there were enclosures made of what looked like sand bags.
“Well, we can’t all be built from steel and never need to train Clark, I have to work out to look this good,” Oliver said flexing his left arm. “Takes a bit more than lifting hay sticks to stay like this. Do you think I look good though, Clark?” Oliver turned to face Clark, taking a step towards him. He’d taken off his hooded jacket, and now was dressed only in his tight trousers. His hair was messed up. However Clark’s eyes couldn’t help admiring how well toned Oliver was, how strong his arms looked, and how tight those trousers really were.
“Yeah, I can see you think just that,” he said winking.
Clark blushed, and tried to find words to say, but they were lost to him. He found himself stepping forward, almost an involuntary reflex. For a moment he dwelled on what he’d just left, he’d accused Lex of something awful, and it hurt, it had hurt them both. But this wasn’t Lex, Oliver was different. He didn’t hide his dark side behind secrets, and lies, and corporate responsibility, he embraced it, used it, and he helped people with it.
Oliver stepped closer, “Listen, I don’t care why you came... what’s important you’re here now, with me,” he said looking straight in Clark’s eyes. He leaned in closer for a kiss, he brushed his lips gently against Clark’s. When Clark didn’t immediately pull away, he went to do it again, and found Clark was moving forward firmly embracing Oliver’s lips. Clark put his hand through Oliver’s hair, as they shuffled their way towards the bed.

Clark was overwhelmed, the musky smell, the strong arms, there was no confusion in what Oliver wanted. Clark felt the bed behind him, and felt himself being lowered, and letting it happen.
“I’ve wanted you just like this,” whispered Oliver breaking their embrace so he could start to take Clark’s shirt off.
Clark’s mind drifted, he remembered this last time this happened, with Lex, Clark had accidentally tripped after coming too close to some kryptonite, and Lex wanted to check if he’d hurt himself. He hadn’t, of course, but Lex had insisted on taking his top off, kissing it better. He never did find out why that kryptonite had been just near the step. Lex, he missed Lex so much.
Suddenly Clark pushed Oliver away. “I’m sorry, I can’t do this,” he said getting up, then before Oliver could even respond, Clark vanished.
“Damn Lex!” Oliver shouted. “He gets it all!”
In the office, AC was naked on the sofa. “Listen Metal Man, I’m more comfortable naked, and faster.”
“It’s not all about the speed baby, it’s the strength,” he said flexing his cyborg arm. “And I’m more than fast enough to catch you little fishy.”
“Hey! That tickles, cut it out!” AC giggled.
“N’uh, you got me last time, now it’s my turn,” he said, with a malevolent look in his eyes. “And this time there’s nowhere for you to swim!” Just then, blur of red flew past, and broke through the door.
“What the hell was that!” AC shouted out startled.
“I think Arrow just scared another one,” Victor said resignedly, “And I kind of liked Clark too.”
“Yeah me too, what do you think happened?”
“It doesn’t matter, saddle up we’ve got a mission to do,” Oliver said walking in the door. He looked longingly on at the smashed doors, Clark had left in his wake. “And some repairs to make after that,” he sighed.
