I'm going to watch Atonement tonight as Mum-Ra loaned it to me ages ago and I need to give it back. However, I am really not in the mood to watch something sad so I am going to follow it with something funny to cheer myself up

What's your favourite funny film?

I know you've seen Sorority Boys, so . . .

The Money Pit, if you like slapstick, or anything by Mel Brooks. (Young Frankenstein in particular).

For a dark comedy-- Heathers.

Hmmm pretty much any of the ones listed above. Have you seen Back to School? Kind of lame 80s but worth it for the RDJ.

I second Top Secret as a highly amusing movie! Also, in other Val Kilmer fare, I was going to rec Real Genius. My brother and I broke that tape. Also, I really liked The Frisco Kid, though I guess it's sorta lame. And A Fish Called Wanda.

Hey, there's always time for repeat viewings of Sorority Boys

The only Mel Brooks film I have on DVD is Robin Hood: Men in Tights.

Bad me. LOL!

Mel Brooks rocks though

Hmm...when I need a laugh I go for one of two things...dry, dark comedy like 'Grosse Point Blank'
or something ridiculously cheesy like 'Ace Ventura: Pet Detective' or 'Wayne's World'.

OMG! I totally forgot!! He was Adrian's best friend, with the crazy hair!!

That movie is funny. "I'd like to tame your shrew!"

"I know you! You're tall and fat!"

"Yeah, and you're short and ugly!" XD

It's not my favourite funny film but I always watch Dodgeball after watching Serenity because nothing gets me out of the Wash-related sads than Steve The Pirate.
