I just watched Blade Runner for the first time

Dave was horrified when my only comment was that it's 'a bit odd' LOL!

I don't know if it's because I watched The Director's Cut or because it's dated or if it's just me but I found the pacing quite slow.

Amusing to see Edward James Olsmos in a film where they keep talking about skinjobs. He hasn't changed a bit! Apart from his voice being a bit more gravelly in BSG.

I think I agree it improves with viewings - it was the basis for In His Image, even though I hadn't watched it in years. It stuck with me, especially the Rutger Hauer character.

I watched it YEARS ago, then watched it again recently. I liked it, but it was slow. It reminded me of how Sci Fi used to be. Where it was more plot and thinky than pretty Matrix style effects. I miss stuff like that.
