I just found myself at the journal of a friend of a friend who sadly passed away recently and I just started to cry. This isn't someone I knew but just reading through her entries they were so upbeat and full of life and humour and it made me so sad, especially given she was only a few years older than me.

Really, I don't understand the world when things like this happen.

Bad things happen to good people, that's just the way life works. So I guess the message is to make each day count.

Aw hon. It's ok . . . you're a sweet and sympathetic person, and that's not a bad thing. It's ok to be sad, especially if she was so young. That's a terrible thing. I sometimes cry when I see things like that on the news, especially if it's children or animals. Just because you didn't know her well doesn't mean that you can't be saddened by her passing.
