A week in the life of Hils, volume 7

I took the scenic route home today so I could take some photos, and it was here that I ran into my friend. See the impact LJ has on my life ;)

7am. ghosts wanted to see my bed hair. It's actually quite tame today


8:05am. Walking to work


5:10pm. The Millenium Bridge


5:15pm. I love these trees and I've been meaning to take a pic every time I walk past them


5:20pm. The River Ouse


5:25pm. Clifford's Tower


5:30pm. Judy Dench own's one of those places with the balcony

Clifford's Tower looks so familiar to me... I was in England 21 years ago (yeesh, I can't believe it's been THAT long!) and I remember driving past something that looked like that...

Hey -- would you know if Peter Wyngarde is still alive? We haven't heard from him in ages and we're worried. He was still living at Earl's Court at the time, but someone told us recently that that whole area was completely renovated and he doesn't live there anymore. He'd been hit by a car while he was in the crosswalk right outside his home, which put him in a wheelchair for a while...and it wasn't long after that when he dropped off the face of the earth. Anyway, if you could find out, my Sig O and I would be extremely grateful. :)

Don't show that tongue unless you plan to use it *wink* I adore your eyes, by the by. I have a thing for red heads with blue eyes (they look blue anyway? >.>) Clifford's Tower is gorgeous. Any chance I could ask you for some closer shots, without lamp/camera posts in the way? If it isn't too much trouble and you have the time.

I adore those trees, especially the River Ouse. I'm sad to see your week is done. Perhaps do another week? ^^;

I'll walk by Cliffords Tower at the weekend and take some more photos. It's only about 5 minutes away from my flat. My driving instructor drops me off there after my lessons

OMG, you photographed Clifford's Tower! (Can't help thinking of Lady Chatterley whenever I see that tower. *LOL*) When you took that photo, were you standing in the park where it's forbidden to be in a group of more than five people at night? XDDD

Surprisingly they put it there for the millennium ;) I think it's been there since 2000. It's a bit out of town (nearer to Fulford than York) so you might not have seen it

You live in such a beautiful place. And it's made even more great knowing that Judi Dench owns a home there, too; I absolutely love her. I think my favorite shot is the one when you're walking to work.

Sometimes I forget how pretty York is. Doing this meme really made me appreciate it :)
