I read this in talesofmicetea's journal first and have checked online.

February 29 is Superman's birthday. Who wants to write birthday fics to post on Friday? I don't have an episode snippet to do this week so I can probably some up with something. You can pair Supes with anyone you like so long as his birthday is featured.

Strangely Clark Kent has a different birthday to Superman according to comic book canon. LOL!

I was so ready to answer my first challenge, until I read this.

I have most of a birthday fic completed, but it's set in season 7, not in the future.

I do remember seeing Lana bringing Clark a birthday cake on one episode, but I honestly don't remember a date being mentioned, and I don't remember hearing about his birthday on any other episode.

If a present day fic won't work for this challenge, just let me know and I'll drop it. If it will work, I'd love to post my first fic to your challenge.

According to the comics Superman's birthday is Feb 29 and Clark's birthday is June 18.
