Uh...I don't honestly know what to make of that. LOL! Parts of it were great and other parts were lame

I liked the scene with Jack and Owen in the cell, even though the projectile vomiting was the most disgusting thing ever. I liked the little moments with Owen and Tosh and even the little scene with Owen and Gwen. I'm glad the writers haven't totally forgotten that they have a history.

What I didn't like was the absolutely farcical scene where the glove came to life like Thing from The Addams family. Also lame was the smoke monster of death and the fact that this episode didn't have enough Martha or Ianto.

Next weeks looks almost like a repeat of Everyone Hates Susie. Oh dear!

Last night's offering was a perfect example of what I was saying before. When Torchwood is bad it is very, very bad!

Oddly enough the lameness bothered me less this time than it has for a while. (Totally agree about the smoke monster and general story incoherence.) It had a lot of energy and was more fun than it has been for a while.

I thought it was completely anti-climatic. Although Ianto's line about getting redirected to weight watchers was funny and Owen realizing that um... without blood he has issues in the "do me" department was top notch! *smirk*

Because I should have posted the full quote in the first place -Jack: "Anything yet?"

Ianto: "No. I'm doing a search for 'I shall walk the earth, and my hunger shall know no bounds,' but I keep getting redirected to Weight Watchers."

It still wasn't as bad as Cyberwoman from last year but yeah it wasn't good

I'm not sure the fun was appropriate though. I dunno, maybe I was looking for a more somber dealing of Owen's death so they tried to go with what people weren't expecting

Yes, that's exactly what was wrong with it

I'm afraid I've given up looking for "appropriate" with
Torchwood
. They went for a certain degree of realism about Owen's undead state - no food, drink or sex - but made a joke out of it. My bet is they'll find a permanent fix next week and it will al be forgotten. But I'm a cynic.

It was appallingly bad. And that's for Torchwood.

They took Everyone Keeps Killing Suzie, The Addams Family and Bubba Ho-Tep and threw them in a blender. Oh, and the vomit scene from Team America: World Police.

It was getting better this season, wasn't it? I didn't just dream it?
