We are incapable of chatting without some sort of mad plot bunny coming out

The bunny continues:

Selina: I think Lex would need to be shot a few times, have amnisia, be on red K...and still he wouldn't wear that hat
Hils: LOL!!! You know he'd do anything for Clark
Selina: that might be drawing the line though
Hils: Hehe! Maybe if he was REALLY drunk
Hils: Or if he and Clark had had a fight and he was doing everything to woo him back
Selina: and Clark makes him wear the owl hat
Hils: "I'll only forgive you if you wear this to the next Luthorcorp board meeting"

There *is* a story where Lex starts showing up for press conferences dressed up (I remember as a vampire for sure), and it drives Superman CRAZY wanting to know what he's up to! It's very funny!

Oh no! It's splitting into two ideas. One random mention of the hat and another bunny that needs more attention. If Lionel sees the owl hat, we need a way for Clark to be there too, descretely at least so he can see the reaction.
