I voted They Keep Killing Suzie as my favorite, but Out Of Time was almost a tie for me.

They Keep Killing Suzie has one of my all time favorite scenes on the show so far--Jack Harkness calling the police for help after Suzie locks down the Hub and he can't get out. They make him repeat it on the intercom to an entire police department, and laugh at him.

When the episode aired on BBC America, that scene was cut, sadly.

Really? What an odd scene to choose to cut. Well, I have to say I can't remember a lot of it which is why I need to watch it all again

The channel's executives do seem to be fans of the show, and they usually just get rid of random establishing shots of Cardiff.

I assume it was a time related thing, but it was still a good scene.

TW can be really quite good, but, its bad episodes can be really bad and cringe worthy. But I still love my cracky show, no matter how bad it sometimes is.

Captain Jack Harkness is my favorite episode. As for OTP, Jack/John...sorry, James fan here!

Hehe! It's funny but I'm all excited about the new series, but when I went back and read all my old review posts I didn't actually have much good to say about it

I don't think it had the capacity for tongue in cheek to pull off Day One without being horribly cheesy.

Captain Jack Harkness was a close runner to They Keep Killing Suzie, but I thought the latter held the tone of the show more.

Having only seen one and a half episodes, I don't yet feel qualified to pass judgement - but considering that it a) is sort of a Who show b)referenced mpreg within three minutes of its first episode c)does indeed contain lots of sex of many kinds and d) is weird yet entertaining, I think I'm going to watch more. I was kinda surprised though that Gwen is a pretty twenty-something, fanfic led me to assume that she was maybe in her forties, kinda boring but nice and the least attractive of all of them - WTF?

The show got on my nerves almost all the way through, though the last three or four were better. The characters are all foul - as soon as I start feeling sympathy for one of them they do something ludicrous, often OOC and I just can't care about them again.

There's bugger all else on worth watching, so I'll probably stick with it (tonight is a given, of course, but that's nothing to do with the series as a whole.) I'm just hoping the writing is better this time round.

That's exactly how I felt, which is why I don't understand why I'm so excited about the new season. Must be James. LOL!

I enjoy this show but have no expectations of it. I laugh at it and with it. I prefer and expect more of Doctor Who. Not watched the first ep of the new series of Torchwood yet. I hope I like it.

Probably because they showed the very last moment of it--I think right when he asked her to start reading the poetry, after the rest of the police department slowly left.
