I've only had about 7 hours sleep so maybe I'll go to bed at a sensible time tonight. LOL

Gee hils, it's nice to put a face with a name!! Dinner looks delicious.

crackers! they sell them in high-tone kitchen supply stores here, but i've never had one to pull. i am deprived.</i Hello myownghost. I used to have my family in Ireland mail me a box of Christmas Crackers because they were considered "imported" and very expensive to buy here. Then I discovered Christmas Tree shops sell them very inexpensivley. They usually sell them through New Years. I'd be happy to pick you up a box and mail them to you. Eveyone should had a cracker at least once in their life. (I still have confetti on my living room floor from last night!! LOL)

that's very kind of you! i just googled, though, and saw that boxes of them are fairly affordable, so next year (if i don't forget, which, given my age, could happen) i can order some. thank you so much. :)

Oooh, that looks very yummy! :D (Except for the Brussels sprouts, I hate them with a passion. XD)
Mmmmh. It must have taken your mom ages to make all that! (And I don't even want to think about how full I would be after having eaten it. O_O) :D

By the way, what are those round dark brown things on the right side of your plate, directly next to the Brussels sprouts? Are they made of shortcrust pastry or something like that?
