For the most part I loved this, but I do have to say I felt it ended a bit too quickly though. I had trouble keeping up because everything was moving so fast.

The characterisation was perfect though. I loved seeing inside Spike's head a little, and the fact that being in the Asylum at least helped him come to terms with his past a little.

The dialogue was also brilliantly written. I read some of the more amusing bits out to the guys in the office. Hehe. "Invisible people are still people, only they're invisible...and they might not be people because who can tell." LOL!

Spike is still a fool for love. Beck helped him get his vamp back. Loved it!

Is Shadow Puppets any good? I've found the trade paperback on Amazon but there's no release date for it.

I liked Shadow Puppets, the Trade should come out this month, or so Brian Lynch said. Then that is in the US, but we should follow soon. It should also have some extras as well.

Shadow Puppets is a but more humourous. With lots of puppets of course. I really liked it.

IDW do really good quality TPB's as well.

I've got the first of Shadow Puppets comic, and liked it - I mean, Spike and Lorne, what's not to love? Especially when the Smile Timer crew start meddling...

Ah that might've been Masks, it came out last Halloween. It had very short stories for a few of them on AtS, no Spike. All different styles of art and storytelling. Like the curates egg it was good in places.

I loved Shadow Puppets. I really enjoyed Asylum, but not nearly as much as Puppets.
