Ok, seriously now, if Peter doesn't ditch those guys with their fake Irish accents soon I am going to scream! Every time one of them opens their mouths it hurts!
Has Milo been asked to bulk up or something? Because he's spending a lot of time with no shirt on. I joked that he was the networks version of Tom Welling and then Peter put on a plaid shirt. ROFL!
I am bored of Maya and Alejandro now. Their story is moving too slowly.
Claire's superboy knows about her and has revealed his powers. Aww! But HRG got to him. Ooer!
I am kind of loving Mohinder this Season. He has stopped being a dumbass and is cool now.
How did DL die after getting shot once but Matt survived after taking 4 bullets?
Hiro has decided to stay in Japan. Aww! I think it's because he loved Kensei ;)
Sylar is back! And he killed Candice! We never did get to see her real face but she was big like she implied to Micah.
Nikki is also back. Meh!
Noah is going to die! NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

Date: 2007-10-10 01:48 am (UTC)Okay, it's Dominic Keating from Enterprise. He was signing my copy of Bite Me and one of his Trek castmates said "You weren't on Buffy!" (Of course he was. He was a Watcher in Helpless)

Date: 2007-10-10 08:09 am (UTC)So very bored with Maya and Alejandro too. They and the Oooirsh get the most snarky commentary when watching.
Starting to feel the series has lost its edge.

Date: 2007-10-11 09:57 pm (UTC)Was a bit miffed to see him nearly kill Dom - however hopefully the girl's right, and he would have stopped. Killing Sylar is one thing, he's a guy that will fight and fight, and kill and kill - Dom was pretty much a goner.
I think Maya and Alejandro's tale is setting the way for a big mid-season plot. Though a misleading one - we know Maya's supposedly unwell, and we know Mohinder is trying to find and cure the mutant plague type virus - and we're meant to think they're related. Except, in the Maya plot, she's actually got an uncontrollable power that's all - but they'll go to Mohinder anyway, to find help. The organisation he's infiltrated, claim to deal with the dangerous mutatations. Her's is pretty devastating, and only countered by Alejandro's healing power (which is stronger than Linderman's as it can travel beyond close proximity).
Interestingly in season two, we're starting to see powers double up (previously most powers had two characters, but one of those characters would have to be Sylar or Peter), obviously the flying boy, healing Alejandro, etc...
Of course flying boy does present an interesting oddity... Claire's falling for a boy that can fly, when she knows now her father, and Peter can fly too.
As to DL dying, and Matt surviving - it's not the quantity of bullets that are important, but where they hit, and how much force they carried. Matt was hit by bullets Sylar threw at him with his telekinesis.
I think the thing with DL is, as a plot character, he'd exhausted his uses. His only goal is to protect his family, and unless Micah gets kidnapped again, he wouldn't really come out to play. Instead, the walking through walls torch has been passed to Peter.
Nikki on the other hand, has a lot of potential uses - I suspect we've not really seen the true potential of her powers. She's too busy hiding at the moment, after only just reconciling herself and Jessica. If she let herself go, she'd be able to clear entire rooms of special forces, and have barely a scratch. She has two great weaknesses though, Jessica and Micah... so expect one to be in jeopardy, and the other to go out of control.
Also watch out for Peter coming to the rescue. You'll notice Peter doesn't have multiple personality issues, which means Jessica in herself isn't a power, just Nikki's guardian to her powers. However, since he's as strong, and has superpowers he can keep her wild side in check. He's also in need of a decent girlfriend, after whats her name died. Plus I think Jessica would be his control valve, she wouldn't hesitate to shoot Peter. Though she'd like him.
Comment was too long!!!!
Date: 2007-10-11 09:58 pm (UTC)Onto Sylar - he's back, and he's weaker than he's ever been. He can't access his powers for some reason, nor any new ones he picks up. One wonders if he has the virus? Maybe they infected him to see how he'd cope. I reckon they expected that he wouldn't kill Candice, till his powers returned. I can't imagine why they've let him loose, nor what he's going to do now. Killing New York was never part of the grand plan - however, he felt compelled to after seeing the future. There's something about seeing Isaac's paintings that sets you on the course he's painted, or someone else has painted. I'm not sure it's a direct representation of the future, but it pushes you into a position where that future might happen.
Which is good news for Noah, he doesn't have to die. Though we don't know what's going on there. In the painting, Clare doesn't look at all bothered that HRG is dead, in fact it looks like she's clutching flying boy - and given the revelation that HRG got to flying boy, we're led to assume flying boy is the murderer. Thing is, Clare loves her father, and she knows what he did, and that he didn't really have a choice.
As to Clare, the painting is a sign she's got some plot left in her, though at this point I don't know what - I mean she's far from the action, all there is the romance/killer angle. How does that feed into the four big plots this year (Kensi, the virus, the organisation, and the mysterious one that looks back at Molly and scares her so badly).
