Where has the weekend gone?

Well, this weekend has been an experience.

Jacqui (my housemate) is sick with a nasty cough. We're 90% sure it's just a cold but because she went into her office building on Thursday to pick up some things she ordered a home covid test just to be sure. This means we are both now self-isolating until we get the results. Well, mostly. Apparently you have to mail the test back once you've done it which seems really stupid. So since I don't have any symptoms I said I'd pop it in a post box tomorrow. I'll of course wear a mask and avoid people which is what I do whenever I go out anyway.

But this means Jacqui can no longer go on her cottage trip. They were supposed to leave on Wednesday and we likely won't have the test results by then so she's cancelled it.

Overall she's fine apart from the cough. She doesn't have a fever or any of the other symptoms. We're just being cautious.

Yesterday we finished Lost Tomb 2 and omg the ending made me so mad.

I really need a break from tomb raiding after that so I've agreed with madamoisellebon that we will finish Reboot together at the weekends and watch our other shows during the week.

This morning I watched Street Dance of China with the usual gang and then amedawg18 and I watched a TON of k-pop. It's fun because we both have different groups and artists that we like so when we get together we just share stuff and both of us get to experience new things. Today we ventured into some of the girl groups which was a lot of fun.

Back to work tomorrow but at least I'm off on Thursday and Friday. Not sure what we're going to do about mailing stuff since I'm not allowed to go to the post office while I'm self-isolating. Will need to chat with the boss and agree a plan.
