16 – Summaries – Do you like them or hate them? How do you come up with them, if you use them?
I consider a good summary to be the pretty much deciding factor on whether I will read a fic or not so I consider them to be really important. I've seen a few fics on AO3 with no summary and...why? It's like having a book with no blurb on the back. Doesn't make sense.

How I come up with a summary depends on the fic. Sometimes it's just a line or two from the fic itself which covers what the story is about. Sometimes it's a more general summary.
