Sunday Fic Recs
Sep. 6th, 2015 06:06 pmNapoleon/Illya (The Man From UNCLE - 2015 Movie)
Untouchable by dracoroxy
Napoleon slides over very slowly until he is crouching down next to Illya’s chair. He wants to touch, but he’s afraid to. Always afraid to. He settles for placing a hand on each armrest and even this feels dangerous.
“Illya.” It comes out softer than he had intended.
(Featuring pining Napoleon, protective/jealous Illya and motherly Gaby)
Lovely story of the developing relationship between Napoleon and Illya
The Space Between by sospes
Solo goes missing. Illya all but panics. And Gaby's the one who holds it all together.
I do love fics where two of them are fiercely protective of the other
Gen (The Man From UNCLE - 2015 Movie)
To Serve and Protect by chunky_squirrel
Illya obviously has a protective streak for Gaby, even after she's found to not be the "innocent" he thought she was. Sometimes, despite himself, that protective streak extends to Solo, too. This is obvious. It's the way they work.
But one day, he's surprised to see Solo and Gaby bear their teeth on his behalf.
This is something I would love to see in the sequel to the movie
Napoleon/Illya (The Man From UNCLE - TV Show)
The Louis Armstrong Affair by veronica
They thought their first would be their last.
A lovely mixture of love confessions and domestic bliss
More Than A Miracle by veronica
An unscheduled rescue and an unexpected revelation give Napoleon his best Christmas present ever.
Lovely hurt/comfort romantic fluff
Orienteering For Dummies by Secret Agent Santa
How to Find Your Way in the Wilderness in Ten Easy Steps
A series of drabbles that link together nicely
Three Minutes To Midnight by utopiantrunks
A flare-up in the Cold War prompts a resetting of the Doomsday Clock.
Napoleon and Illya spend what they think will be their last night together. It's beautiful.
Will/Hannibal (Hannibal)
We Belong Dead by darkforetold
Will experiences the five stages of grief. Not because Hannibal is dead—because they survived.
This is an absolutely stunningly written post-finale fic. It's pretty much exactly how I could see things continuing.
The Fall by salyiha
What happened after Will decided to be an idiot? This is my take on it.
Lovely piece of post-finale hurt/comfort
