hils: (Reading Dean)
I had nothing to rec, then I found this and <3

Dean/Castiel (Pre-slash)
I'm Just A Love Machine by [livejournal.com profile] peroxidepest17
The Impala finally gets the chance to love Dean back. The problem is, Castiel seems to be in its way.
I just can't even put into words how much I adored this fic. It starts of amusing and cracky but quickly becomes so much more. Really, everyone needs to read this. It's the best thing I've read in months

I have stepped down as mod and poster at both [livejournal.com profile] rec_hymenated and [livejournal.com profile] daily_misha. I just don't have the time to devote to them, sadly. Both comms have been left in very capable hands and I'm proud to have been a part of them.

The plus side is, more time for writing. Sassy minibang is over halfway done and I know I said I was over Dean/Cas but I totally forgot I have a fic planned out for [livejournal.com profile] blu_3_haze which I shall be writing once the Sassy is done.

I never wanted to get to the point where I was too busy to do the things that I enjoy. It's my bad for allowing that to happen. Stepping down from a couple of comms is what I needed to do to get myself happy again.

Don't worry about [livejournal.com profile] deancasbigbang though. That will have to be prized from my cold, dead hands *g*

I really like the non-fandom layout I'm currently using but it formats polls in a really bizarre way with the buttons in the middle instead of at the side.

Does anyone know any nifty CSS that will fix that?

I like the standard layouts on Dreamwidth a lot better I have to say

:(

Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] supergee for the link

This just sickens me.

Authors told to 'straighten' gay character in Young Adult novel

It's just a mentality I don't understand. I don't understand what harm gay characters in fiction can do. Surely all it does it promote acceptance. How is that a bad thing.
