Hello LJ

I'm finally back from newcastiel. It was a bit of an ordeal. After a most excellent and fun meetup I found myself stuck in Newcastle because of this. There were no trains at all running between Newcastle and York and they were running a 'limited' bus service. Bascially I was told that unless it was an emergency I shouldn't try and travel until Sunday as there was currently a 6-7 hour wait for buses.

So, I called Matt (my new shift partner) and told him what was going on and that I'd try to get into work asap on Sunday but that I'd likely be late.

Luckily for me steerpikesister offered me her sofa to crash on and fed me. Caught the first train to York this morning and got into work for 10am which wasn't as bad as I was expecting.

What a nightmare.

Meetup was fun though.

So now I'm really tired as I didn't sleep very well and I have to work a 10 hour shift followed by a Random Acts meeting.

And we switched to Daylight Savings Time last night so we're running on an hour less sleep.
