So I've just woken up to the news that my critique of Misha's scavenger hunt has made it onto Fandom Wank.
In my 10+ years in fandom I have never once been linked on that site, or even been mentioned on it as far as I know.
The thing that really bothers me is that the post itself isn't wanky. 107 comments on it and not a single one is shouty or wanky or negative any any way. Even from those people who disagreed with me. All of the so called wank has come from the anon meme and even then it seemed to be something they quickly forgot about and moved on to the next thing to wank about.
I dunno, it just makes me kind of sad I guess. I do my best to get along with everyone and not cause wank in the fandom but it seems I've done it anyway.
I don't regret making that post though. It's how I felt at the time, and I've already moved on from it to be honest. All it was was an expression of how I felt at that specific time and it certainly wasn't my intention to start wank.
