Snow joke

Well, I managed the drive to work and back today pretty much unscathed. Have decided to get the bus to work the rest of the week. Driving in this is just too stressful and when there's a bus that leaves from the end of my road and drops me off around the corner from where I work it seems silly not to use it. Won't be able to do this when I start shifts but for this week it's fine.

And today my boss told me that they have a spare slot at the Christmas party on Thursday and that she wanted me to come. Free food and free booze. I say...jackpot.

And one of the shift guys left this weekend. Call me selfish but I'm hoping it will open a slot for me to be made permanent at the end of Jan *crosses fingers*

Got my sassy_otp fic back from beta and it's ready to post on Wednesday. And the first draft of my deancas_xmas fic is done so I just need to get it fixed up for Friday. Is anyone free to beta btw? I know it's short notice :-s It's 6k long
