Castiel is up in Heaven, miserable and making life hard for the other angels. Sam is out of Hell and can't get Crowley and Bela to stop treating him like King of the Demons. Dean is down on Earth, miserable and making life hard for everyone else — especially for Lisa and Becky, who might just be pregnant with Jesus. Gabriel and Cupid decide to stick their noses in and set everybody right. Too bad they can't make plans to save their lives.
This was fantastic! I was really expecting something over the top and cracky when I read the pairings but actually the whole thing is done really, really well and is totally believeable. Kudos! I particularly loved the sheer and epic amounts of snark between Dean and Cas as they tried to work through their issues, and Gabriel and Cupid were also amazing

To Kiss (or Try) in LA
Dean Winchester is an A-list actor with a crush on the guy from his favourite clothes store. Can he convince Cas that he really likes him? Or is their romance doomed to die a death of rom-com proportions?
This was hilarious and adorable. I was grinning the whole time I was reading it

Two weird cases, two different locations: Sam and Dean are forced to split up when calls from Samuel and Cas divide their attention between Iowa and Michigan, thinking that they might be dealing with two separate cases of Alphas. Although Cas is supposedly there to help, Dean's lost trust in the angel's priorities in the past year, and can't help but feel that he's running interference as Dean discovers that the rash of brutal animal slayings in the town of Springville are a symptom of something truly perverse.
This feels like a proper casefic. Everyone was well characterised, the Dean/Cas stuff was hot and the way their relationship develops in te fic feels very natural and fluid

So, yes, today was my first day at work after four months off. It did not start well. I was already really nervous and then when I was driving in a dumb woman rear-ended my car. Luckily she was going really slowly so there was no damage to my car or me but she didn't actually stop to check >:(

The actual job stuff was fine though. Everyone seems to be nice and the work seems pretty straightforward so we'll just see how it goes. Had a nice chat with the woman in HR who told me I have 7 days holiday to use by the end of next month even though I'm only on a two month contract. LOL. She did say that because I'm starting so late I might get paid for some of it but I have to chat to my supervisor about Christmas cover and whatnot.

So it all seems to be going okay.

Interestingly one of the guys who got hired before me is the boyfriend of the girl who was training me today. I see how it is...
