The other day fleshflutter proposed soulless!Sam/2014!Dean as a pairing and now I am REALLY hoping someone is going to write it because even though I don't ship wincest I want to read the hell out of that pairing. God, imagine the angsty emotionless sex. GUH!

In post-apocalyptic isolation, Castiel nurses Dean back to something like his former self, but will a time come when Dean's recovered --and rediscovered-- too much?
I loved this! It made me cry but it was a good cry. I got really drawn into Dean's emotional state and made me care so much about what he and Cas were going through.

Looking For A Run-In
In which Dean's the ex-pornstar turned bartender, Castiel is the rich weirdo dressed like Columbo, and Sam's the big fancy Lawyer who brought them together by accident.
This is a perfect AU. Everyone is well characterised, it's got a great plot and my favourite thing of all awesome!matchmaker!Sam. YAY!

Dean and a newly human Castiel wake up at Bobby’s to find that Sam has left in the middle of the night with the Impala, leaving only a vague note behind telling them not to follow him. Assuming that he’s gone to say yes to Lucifer, Dean and Castiel immediately go after him in one of Bobby’s old vans. On the way they get wrapped up in mysterious case after mysterious case, and eventually start to uncover something a lot bigger than what they set out to find. On top of that, they have to deal with their own – highly impractical – feelings.
I really enjoyed this! Nice well-characterised fic with just enough biblical lore to be plausible without going over the top. Loved Castiel's exploration of his humanity and his building relationship with Dean

I have to say I never liked hooker fics until I read Bulletproof by fleshflutter and that sort of converted me. Anyway, this is really sweet. Nice twist having Jared as the hooker for once and I loved Jensen exploring his sexuality while he gets to know Jared.

Quandry

So the job I went for the interview for on Monday (the one I wasn't sure went that well) has just re-advertised the position today. I still haven't heard back from them and I'm wondering if I should get in touch and get some feedback on my performance from them or whether I should wait for them to officially tell me that I haven't got it befor getting in touch.

I suppose there's a very slim chance that it's a different job but I find it unlikely.

Amusingly a recruitment agent just rang me to try and put me forward for the job.

Meh.

On the plus side I applied for another four jobs this afternoon
