Whenever I get asked this question I always say Renegade by Styx but I don't know that it is anymore. There's so many awesome songs that have been used in SPN, especially back in the early seasons. I really love Ramblin' Man by The Allman Brothers and I think that might be my new favourite

It's never as bad as you think

So I finally caved and read the anon meme comments on my big bang fic. I know I said I wouldn't but I must have been feeling masochistic or something. I was just curious how much they hated it.

Well, no one had anything positive to say but I'm not really surprised about that to be honest. I figure that if people have nice things to say they'll say it in my LJ and if they don't they'll bitch about it on the anon meme.

The criticism was mostly minor stuff. The biggest thing seemed to be everyone arguing about whether it was realistic to have Jared off work for eight weeks with a broken leg. If that's the biggest thing wrong with it then I can't really complain.

A couple of people thought I was having a dig at Wincest because Jared and Jensen make a joke about how weird it is. I wasn't. Wincest not be my thing but I have plenty of friends who like it and it really doesn't bother me. I think the anon Wincesters kind of missed the point. Jared and Jensen don't write slash of any kind in the fic, it's all gen because they want to say true to the books. Yes, I could have made a joke about Dean/Cas slash too but honestly Wincest is still the main SPN pairing in the fandom which is why I singled it out.

The one piece of concrit I took on board was that some people felt the epilogue was rushed and felt tacked onto the end. Definitely something to consider when I edit my DCBB fic

But I honestly consider all those things to be fairly minor blips so I guess the epic panic was mostly for nothing.

At the end of the day I have four pages of comments from people who liked it and those are the comments that matter to me :)
