Misha tweet and other stuff

Thanks to everyone who took the time to reply to my Misha post. I feel my overlord would be disappointed in me for questioning him ;) I kind of wanted to take it down as soon as I realised I was being silly but there were some lovely well thought out comments and I didn't want to lose them

Your reassurances meant a lot and at least I know I was just flailing about nothing. I blame the hormones.

But, weirdly, not long after I made that post Misha twitted about porn thus proving he is as awesome as I hoped. Are you sure one of you isn't him? LOL!

I'm in having a conversation about Twitter & how it serves as a parasocial crutch akin to porn. But I'm arguing porn is more satisfying.

God bless him for using terms like 'parasocial crutch' I swear I love that man's brain more than any other part of him.

I freely admit this is a totally self-indulgent thing but I've been in a bit of fandom slump the past couple of days and the usual fandom wank that I usually just shrug off and laugh at has been kind of bothering me.

So, I thought what better way to cheer me up and at the same time share something nice than a Misha is Awesome meme.

Well, Chicon is a go. I've just ordered my Jared/Misha joint photo op before they sell out.

I am feeling ridiculously mellow about this. Usually when I'm doing any sort of con I am on the ball having everything organised and sorted months before the event. With this literally all I have is the photo op so far. I don't even have a hotel room 100% sorted although I have kind offers from a couple of people willing to let me and oh_whimsical share so I'm not to worried about that.

The rest will get sorted next month after I get done moving house. I'm trying to cost whether it will work out cheaper to get a silver pass or just go general entry and pay for the stuff I want seperately.

So who else is going? I have a feeling this is going to turn into a fairly epic meetup the likes of which I haven't seen since the OGD Tampa meetup way back in 2003. Ah, that was a good time.
