So, despite thinking I was okay after the SPN finale I wound up going comfort shopping this afternoon without even realising that's what I was doing. I went out for some lunch and I came back with a new pair of jeans, some cosmetics from Lush and I've finally bought the Sony Reader that I've had waiting for me since Christmas. Oh, and I ordered my A5 photo ops with Misha and Richard.

miranda_skye very kindly showed me how to format fic for my Reader and, of course, the first thing I added was

felisblanco's Doors of Time closely followed by

strangeandcharm's Melting Verse. Added a few more of my fave fics too and in slower time I will start looking for more. I'm sure

kitty_poker1 has lots she can send me *g*

I had a bit of a fandom fail moment this evening. Vancouvernights was asking for people to send her a favourite pic of Misha. Not entirely sure why but I think it's got something to do with the Asylum Europe prank. Anyway, I couldn't decide so I linked her to my picspam post, totally forgetting that I'd made all sorts of daft comments about the pics. She works with this man! D'oh!

Well, she seemed happy anyway but I still think it was a bit of a faux pas on my behalf.

Right, I need to get a few things done for Newcastiel tomorrow and then it's bedtime

Oh, and Misha popped onto Twitter to call us all ass-butts and then vanished again. I don't think it's worthy of a dedicated tweet post. LOL!

I didn't know Jensen and Danneel were getting married today. Wow, that's been kept quiet. I was expecting way more of a fandom wanksplosion about it. Well, I believe they're getting married in Scotland and if the weather up there is like it is here it'll be a beautiful day for them.

I smiled fondly this morning when I saw that

rpf_big_bang was open for signups. Means it's been a year since I wrote my first ever big bang fic. Ahh, happy (and stress-filled) memories but I was pleased with the end result so I guess it was worth it

deancasbigbang sign ups are now open too but I'm reluctant to sign up until I have a solid plot bunny. Hopefully something will come to me. Y'all seem to want me to write Jensen/Misha but there are far better writers than me out there already doing that (

qthelights and

kadiel_krieger). I'll have to see what the muses dictate I guess. I think I'd rather do Dean/Castiel though since I've already done one RPS big bang this year.

Right, I need to go and get some stuff ready for Newcastiel and then head to the station. Be back this evening no doubt with silly pictures and porn

Funtimes were had at Newcastiel and I am home and sleepy. Photos and artz are being put together at the moment but in the meantime have a register of attendance and chapter 2 of the round Robin silly fic
