So, I finally decided to be a grown-up and get a contract phone rather than Pay As You Go. I need a new phone anyway because my current one is starting to die. So, an iPhone is coming my way. WOO! I'll be looking for app reccomendations when I get it.

Slightly annoyingly it's getting delivered tomorrow and they'll only send it to my home address. I figured taking the day off would be okay since we have no work but apparently Greg has an exam in the morning and my boss has a visit to do in the afternoon so they need me here :( Guess that means I'll have to either pick it up from the depot or get it re-delivered on Thursday.

But, still, I am ridiculously excited. You know how I love my tech. LOL. I haven't been this excited since I got my first laptop.

Edit: Just had an e mail from O2 and it's going to be some time in the next 5 days not necessarily tomorrow so I might be okay. WOO!

Ponderings on RPS

You know, as much as I love the high quality J2 AU fics out there I haven't read a really good, long, non-AU in ages. Are people not writing them anymore?

Maybe it's just because everyone is working on spn_j2_bigbang

I shall have to wait, I guess, or go and find some old ones to read

I think the pirate episode with Uncle Jack is my all time favourite ep now, or maybe the one with the 70s costumes. Hee! S3 is possibly my favourite now but I will give a full verdict when we get to the end

FFS SPN Fen!

This really should not come as a surprise to me but some of the SPN fans playing the Fight the Apocalypse game have gone mental, or possibly always were.

I know it's easy to say because we're 2nd on the leaderboard but I honest think I would say the same if I was in 100th place. It's just a game!

People are freaking out and making accusations of cheating (not just to me, in general) and claiming that the game is rigged.

But what's really bugging me are two girls who have set it upon themselves to police this game themselves. Apparently they now have the private number of the person in charge of the game so they can provide all their 'evidence' of this alleged cheating.

It's all very juvenile. When I asked one of them what sort of evidence they had I got a mature response of 'that would be telling'

It's just not fun anymore. I know Holly and I haven't done anything wrong but I still have this horribly paranoid feeling that we're going to be disqualified for cheating. Part of me kind of wishes it happens so I can just forget about the damn thing.

Seriously, this fandom...

And you know no one would give a shit if the prize wasn't a chance to visit the set. Notice there's no guarantee the cast will be there. I imagine the show will be in post-production by then anyway.
