Writer's Block: My endless love

I'm going to sound like a total loser here but it's fandom.

I've always been a fannish sort of person even before I really knew what it was, but nothing tops the sense of community that being part of a fandom brings. I love being able to share my thoughts and feelings on shows/films/books with people who love them as much as I do

I love being able to create thing based on the shows/films/books I love and have people appreciate them and not think I'm a freak

And if we're talking about how fandom has shaped my life, I am SO much more comfortable in myself as a person now. I spent the majority of my teenage years pretending to be something I wasn't in an effort to fit in (as most teens do I think) but getting involved in fandom (and getting older too I guess) has made me less ashamed of my geeky ways.

And then, of course, there's the ultimate rush I get from meeting actors I love at conventions. A natural high that's better than any drug, let me tell you.

So, YAY for fandom!

I finished the first draft of my Renegade Angels fic. Way ahead of schedule. Go me. Going to leave a couple of days, edit and then it'll be done :)

And now it's home time. WOO HOO
