Two unrelated things

1. I am considering maybe doing wincon for my holiday this year and spending a few days in Chicago while I'm at it. What's Chicago like in October weather wise? And is Wincon worth going to?

2. It's funny that during Tall Tales Bobby mentions Anansi as a type of Trickster. Now I've started reading Anansi boys and I'm imagining Fat Charlie's dad as an older Richard Speight.

Lunchtime now and then the SPN marathon continues. We kind of abandoned the drinking game after a few episodes not surprisingly.

In other news _demonbuttercup has just pointed out that Anansi Boys is a sequel to American Gods so, uh, I should probably read that first, right? I didn't realise. Greg just told me it was good and he didn't mention it was a sequel.

So I shall have to read something else until I can get a copy of American Gods
