Disappointed to hear that Harry Groener has had to cancel Hallowhedon as he was one of the guests I haven't met before. Ho hum.

I very much enjoyed the new BBC production of Emma in the end. Very nicely directed and I loved all the little scenes that had been added.

Pride and Prejudice and Zombies has illustrations! Really good ones too!

I really think I'm going to enjoy this book.

J2 version of Beauty and the Beast is coming along nicely. I'm going to work on it for another week and then I'm going to have to bench it in favour of my DWB fic and spn_j2_xmas

There's also a Dean/Castiel Christmas fic exchange going on which I would love to participate in but I'm not sure at this point whether I will have the time :(

I don't think I praised Sarah Parish in my review of Merlin. She was absolutely fantastic! Brilliant for every second she was on screen. Hands down the best guest star the show has had.

Oh, wow. It's been ages since I read a good long epic Dean/Cas fic and this just pushed all my buttons. It's got schmoop, angst, bible lore, hurt/comfort and hot smexing. Wonderful.

Semi-meta

I was going to do a meta post about this but I don't think I've been in the fandom long enough really. So instead let me pose a question.

What is it about Supernatural that seems to drive people more crazy than most other fandoms?

Really, I don't get it. I've been watching the show for years now but I only really got into the fandom recently because it has such a bad reputation for being full of crazies. What is it about this show that drives people insane? It really does seem to be worse than any other fandom I've been in, especially when you consider it's got a pretty small amount of viewers compared to a lot of shows.

The sheer amount of wank is off the charts, and don't even get me started on the huge numbers of fangirls who seem to have no grasp of what is and isn't appropriate to say to actors both at cons and on Twitter.

I'd love to know what you think. May compile a meta post based on the answers.
