FINALLY got to see this! Seriously, I found it as soon as I logged on this morning and had to wait until I got home from work to watch it

I love that the interviewer keeps flirting with him and touching him. Hee! Well, you would I guess.

Why SPN is actually Spike/Giles slash

You all forgot to remind me (apart from jacqui_hw who just did)

So, we've been watching Season Seven of Buffy these last few days while we've been having dinner.

It started out as an innocent comment about Kripke being Whedon's bitch and how SPN and Buffy are very similar.

Then Jacqui pointed out that Kripke was probably a Spike/Giles slasher

Think about it. You've got two guys. The older one (chronologically not physically) is badass and snarky but is a woobie kitten on the inside. The younger one is stuffy and bookish with a hidden dark side.

Oh, and let's not forget Sam/Giles both had the person they loved be murdered by one of the villains

But then Kripke realised if he turned his Spike/Giles slash into a TV show people might have issues with teh gay so he made the boys brothers but forgot to remove all the slashy references ;)

At first we thought Castiel was Angel but Jacqui said he's more like Xander these days.

I think that was the gist of it. I'm sure jacqui_hw will remind me if I got something wrong
