On writing
Oct. 20th, 2009 04:49 pmI know it's not a bad thing but I really can't write when I'm at work. There's just too much background noise and I find it too distracting, even on days like today when there isn't much to do.
My J2 AU is coming along nicely. Jared and Jensen have now met and I'll work on it a bit more tonight.
I don't think my
spn_j2_xmas is going to be anything long or epic. Just some nice sweet schmoop. Don't have anything beyond a vague idea for it at the moment so need to have a think.
beth23 made a very generous bid on me for the Doctors Without Borders charity challenge. I have two pages of plot written for this and I'm rather excited. It's teenchester gen which is a new one for me, and I like to try new things. Uh, where does one go to post SPN gen fic? I'm only on slash comms. LOL!

You know, I was going to do a mini-rant about how some users on Twitter need to engage their brains before tweeting celebs but instead I think I shall do a happy post
What I love most about Twitter is the fact that these celebs choose to make themselve accessible and are willing to interact with their fans. Just had a tweet from Edgar Wright about Spaced which made me all gleeful. So, so far I've had Stephen Fry, Jonathan Ross, Duncan James, Chad Lindberg and Edgar Wright tweet me. I'm so easily amused. Now if I could just get one out of Misha...
Not counting Nathan and Rosenbaum as from what I can tell they don't reply to anyone apart from people they actually know (which is also fair enough)

Random observation before bed
Oct. 20th, 2009 10:41 pmThe most well written fics are not necessarily the ones I like best
Remind me tomorrow to tell you all why SPN is Kripke's version of Spike/Giles slash. Or ask
