Greetings all! I am home!
Trip sullied slightly by ending up sat next to a boy who spent the entire journey watching naked women dance and fondle themselves on his laptop. Really, there is a time and a place for porn!
In other news I have finished my fic! Well, the handwritten first draft anyway. Thanks to everyone who commented on my present tense question. The consensus seems to be that it's ok for shorter fics but I'm probably best using past tense for this one as it is long. I shall crack on typing it up and editing tomorrow.
I spent most of the train journey watching Colin and Bradley on my iPod. I kind of want to write some more RPS now even though I don't really have any plot bunnies.
Ooh, can anyone help me find a vid? I have it on my iPod and it doesn't tell me anything about who made it. It's Merlin/Arthur (of course) and is to a song called Rescue Me. Anyone?
And speaking of vids I am going to get down on bended knee and BEG someone to make a Merlin/Arthur vid to That's How You Know from Enchanted. Seriously, the lyrics work so perfectly if you take it from Merlin's perspective. I even have some of the clips in mind. Here are some samples.
Well does he leave a little note to tell you you are on his mind? - Merlin finds the note from Gaius...obviously for the purpose fo the vid it's from Arthur
Send you yellow flowers when the sky is grey? - Morteus flower. It's even the right colour!

Ok, I can't turn this fic into past tense. It clearly wants to be written this way and changing it now is going to be way too much of a headache. We'll call it a lessons learned for the next one, unless my beta strongly suggests I change it
